Chopped… Have you heard about this new TV show?! Chopped is a cooking competition show on the Food Network
The challenge? The candidates have 30 minutes to cook an amazing course with a basket of mystery ingredients given to them moments before the clock starts ticking! The pressure doesn’t stop there. Once they’ve completed their dish, they have to survive the Chopping Block where the three judges are waiting to be wowed and…are not shy about voicing their culinary criticisms!

A Stress-Relieving Playlist
The only thing I ever won was a stress- relief ball modeled after the Earth. I was twelve-ish, and it was “Take Your Daughter to Work” day. I couldn’t imagine what deep-seated feelings people harbored that only rapid hand movement could release. I just thought the globe looked cool. Years (many years!) later and it makes sense now; one of the millions of ways people cope with stress is through physical exertion.

This year was the third annual Reykjavik Fashion Festival which took place on March 29th – April 1st. This eccentric festival reveals a unique take on fashion, design and music from Iceland’s top creative artists.
